It's Monday that means we get to enjoyShot and Edit with Jill on Monday and and Ashley on Thursday.. this weeks theme is costumes
You have already seen this pictures or something similar

so i decided to take anew one. We don't go trick or treating, instead we choose to go to a church function called "Light the Night" where my kids can enjoy the Spirit of the Risen One! Last n ight was our first of two, tonight our home church is doing one!

Here is the picture I took of my scary crew with attitude..not happy with how dark it is, we were in a darker hallway with no windows and 5 kids who were annoyed that mommy wanted to take another picture =0)

Fall is quickly getting away from us with the threat of our first snow! The kids are excited..me? i'm wishing we could hold to temps in the 70's  hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Good to WOW EDIT wk 42

i really wasn't sure what i wanted to do with this photo simply because I was happy with every aspect of it, so when Michelle from snapshots by Michelleshared on Ashley's post today I was super excited to try it out. But of course my kids wouldn't let mommy do it during the day =0) so after they all went to bed and the snores began, I had at it!  It really isn't all that hard!! So here is my edit. all I did was follow step by step Michelle's Tutorial.

SOOC memories!

seriously, this topic was hard! not for the lack of photos, so many memories have been made this past summer, but i wanted to use a photo I took recently..i had some great ideas today but when we got all set up it started to rain....so I went with plan B. i really hope you are not getting tired of seeing this little man...

last year at this time he really didn't want anything to do with leaves..but this year, he loves them! the older kids have great memories of jumping in pile of leaves and throwing leaves at one another...they are handing these fun time down to their little brother..... i know he won't remember much about this fall, but i will hold these moment close to my heart for ever...

Wow it's been way to long! Like I've said, we have been super busy over here with 4 in homeschool..well that right there explains most of it LOL. but now that we are well into it, life is settling and so I'm hoping to be able to get back into what i love doing and that this photo challenges and just taking photos! with that said, this weeks themes were:

Always Look on the Bright Side (Anika's suggestion)
okay this may me a long shot too, but when i look at this picture i think, "If you just look on the bright side of stuff, things will look more beautiful..." this is one tree you are looking at just one side has turned while the other has not....

When Fall comes it reminds of what the bible says, in Psalms 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints." The leaves are dying and that is why we see such BEAUTIFUL colors. it makes me check my life, is my all on the alter? I know that death brings life in eternity....it is in that  death, here on earth that we ( who believe in Christ) are reunited with Him who gave us life! It's the perfect day to give a self check! how are you doing?
